This hotel is the former "Tanatawey Place" and a request has been submitted to merge the listings. I stayed for a month in January at a Standard/Superior room (no difference). The Deluxe rooms are bigger, but no extra amenities/fixtures. The standard rooms are nice and large enough, about 28-30 m2, with a big fridge, nice LCD TV with cable channels, comfortable bed and a great balcony from where (depending on which side of the hotel you're on) you can catch great views of Bangkok. The bathroom is unusually small (even for Thai bathroom standards) and the shower cubicle is no more than 1 sq. meter. But the ample counter sink space compensates for that. What really brings the rating down is the wifi. This is a wifi setup by 3BB with speeds from 10 years ago (by the way, Thailand 10 years ago, not US/Japan/Korea). When it was working, I would get download speeds of 1-5 mbps to BKK and Singapore, and 0.5-2 mbps to US and Europe. Several times the speed would drop to below 1 mbps (screenshots attached). On some days the wifi would get cut off for the entire building. You can pretty much forget about Zoom and Google Meet here. I basically got by turning my True phone connection into a mobile hotspot. About the staff, some (including the cleaning staff) were friendly and helpful and some need some basic customer service training. Example, after staying for 3 weeks at a good daily rate, I requested a monthly rate and I was offered a 20% discount. The next day when I went to pay for a month I was refused the discount based on an excuse of using too much A/C and electricity. This is amateurish, at best. So I extended my stay for only another week. Another curious thing about this place, they have reserved the entire top floor for long-term guests who not only feel they are entitled to make noise, but also have turned the floor into a rather cheap local apartment building (photo attached).

Check in was good but other than that it was horrible. The shower head aimed on a 45° angle out of the shower. The toilet paper was individual s..t tickets. And to top it off the bed had no sheets, just a comforter and the comforter had blood spots on it!!! We left after discovering the dirty comforter. We were only there for 2 hours and left. This place had a very cheap price....I guess you get the quality you pay for!

เดินทางผู้หญิงคนเดียว เข้าพัก 1 คืน เลือกที่นี่เพราะราคาถูก แต่ไม่รู้ว่าภายในซอยเข้าไปลึกและซอยเล็ก ซอยทางเข้ามีก่อสร้างคนงาน แต่ก็มีบริการรถตุ๊กๆเข้าออก รูปห้องไม่ตรงปก เคยเป็นอพาร์ทเม้นท์มาก่อน ปัจจุบันเปลี่ยนเจ้าของ ห้องมีกลิ่นอับแต่ดีที่แอร์เย็นช่วยได้ ผ้าห่มมีรอยอะไรสักอย่างสีน้ำตาลแดงจางๆ ฉันเปิดทีวีนอนไม่หลับทั้งคืนมาหลับตอนเช้าเมื่ิฟ้าสว่างนิดหน่อยประมาณ2ชม.แล้วเตรียมตัว check out ทันที

ホテル自体は綺麗で不満はありませんが、いかんせん見付けるのに一苦労。タクシーやトゥクトゥクで向かったとしても自分自身で道案内をするパターンになると思います。裏路地の奥の突き当りにあるので、まず見付け辛い。裏路地までの道のりも裏道で目印もないため、注意しましょう。ホテルにお願いすれば大通りのラチャダーピセーク通りまで電動カートで迎えに来てくれるので、わからない場合は電話しましょう。そんな事からホテルの印象より立地の印象ばかりになってしまいました。なお鉄道マーケット至近なので、マーケットメインに考えている人にはいいと思います。
